Collection: Frenchtown Metalworks
Chris Mundy always knew she wanted to be an artist. The opportunity to attend college as an art major did not present itself until she was an adult, but she had always found creative outlets along the way. After years working in fiber and mixed media, she took a 5 day jewelry class at Peter's Valley Craft School on a whim. Despite accidentally signing up for an intermediate class, she came out of it with a passion for fine metal work. Apart from yearly pilgrimages to Peter's Valley, she is largely self-taught. She is devoted to experimentation and virtually never makes the same piece twice. She sells her art jewelry at private sales and street fairs in Frenchtown, NJ, where she lives and works.
